Wirewound braking resistor RXG20 series Power 2000W
Description of Wirewound braking resistor:
Wirewound braking resistors can be suitablefor rugged applications. Two
terminal extensions are fixed on both ends of aceramic tube on whose
surface winds wave-shaped alloy resistance wire and ahigh temperature
resistant and fireproof coating are applied. The ceramic tubecan
function as resistance wire skeleton and heat radiator as well.
Key Features of Wirewound braking resistor:
1.Long term high stability;2.non-inductive or inductive type options;
3.high operating voltage(up to 1.2KV) and highpower ratings(up to 15KW);
4.terminals suitable for soldering or boltconnection.
Characteristics of this series:
1.Rated power: 50W-15KW, based on 25℃ free airrating;2.Resistance values: from 1Ω to as high as10 KΩ( to 100 KΩ on request);
3.Temperature Coefficients:25,50 and100ppm/℃ or as required;
4.Operating Temperature:-55℃ to +225℃;
5.Insulation Resistance: >1000MΩ (500V25℃ 75% relative humidity);
6.Dielectric strength: >3.0KV 50Hz 1min(25℃ 75% relative humidity);
7.IP protection: IP00, IP20 or as required;
8.Element material: OCR25AL5/CrAlFe/CrNi/CuNi;
9.Lead material: Brass Caps(lug terminations available);
10.Encapsulation: Silicone conformal coating.
